We are very excited to welcome the class of 2026, and we look forward to seeing all 9th grade students at our Orientation Day on Thursday, August 4th from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the MHS Gym. Our Link Crew Program will help get 9th graders off to a great start! 

Link Crew is a nationwide program designed to welcome and support 9th graders by connecting them with Link Leaders, who are positive, responsible, hand-selected 11th and 12th graders. Your student’s Link Leaders will help them feel more comfortable as well as help them achieve success in their first year of high school. Doesn’t that sound great? It is!  

 

•  A day or two before orientation, your child will receive an email on their school email from their Link Crew Leader personally inviting them to orientation day and giving the details of where to be and what time. The Leaders can also answer any questions they may have.  
• Your student is encouraged not to bring backpacks, purses or other like items as the day is quite active;  
• Because the day is active, please make sure that your student wears comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement; 
• Cell phone use is forbidden on this day     

Orientation/Link Crew Day is for Freshman Students only. Parents/guardians can drop off their 9th grade student at 8 a.m. and pick them up at 12 p,m. Parents/guardians are welcome to join their students at Registration Day, on Friday, August 5th from 8am-3 pm in the gym to get their class pictures taken, buy PE clothes, etc. 

To be a part of this new, exciting experience, please be sure your incoming Freshman is at our Freshman Orientation/Link Crew Day on August 4, 2022 from 8am-12pm in the MHS gymnasium.
