Alicia Wright, Assistant Principal
Dear Marysville High School Community,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! During the past two years as assistant principal at Marysville High School, I have had the pleasure of building relationships with students, teachers, families, and the community. It is my honor and privilege to continue serving MHS as your new principal.
Marysville High School has achieved many successes that deserve celebration and recognition. I am committed to highlighting the amazing work that is taking place on our campus and to helping students build skills and explore their interests. If you are aware of activities, events, or individuals that deserve recognition, please reach out to our administration office so we can share the great work that is happening on and around campus.
I am equally committed to hearing your concerns and striving to make Marysville High School the best high school experience for our staff, students, and the community. I encourage you to stop by, call, or send me an email with your ideas, suggestions, or concerns. Always know that you are a valuable member of our community and the Marysville High School team.
In the upcoming years, we will focus on growth for increased student success, as guided by the district LCAP and Marysville High School’s School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). Our SPSA includes six overall goals, and areas of focus include:
  • Increasing student engagement by supporting activities that promote positive culture, safety, and wellness among students and staff
  • Providing professional development opportunities and observation time for teachers and staff to explore strategies for meeting the diverse needs of our students
  • Increasing college and career readiness through added workshops and supports
  • Communicating regularly and effectively with families and the community
The SPSA is reviewed and approved by our site council, which includes an administrator, teachers, support staff, students, and parents. Elections for the 2024-2025 school year will take place in August. Of course, all community member input is valued and there will be opportunities for everyone to share their thoughts and ideas. Please keep an eye on Aeries messages for important dates and election information.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year of success, growth, and making positive memories. Thank you for being part of our Marysville High School community.

Sincerely,
Alicia Wright
