Tips for scholarship applications:
- Develop a series of reusable documents and materials (personal statement that you can edit per scholarship, recommendation letters, etc.)
- Apply for as many scholarships as possible - big and small!
- Pay attention to deadlines - DON'T wait until the last minute!
- Give teachers/staff members at least 2-3 weeks to complete your recommendation letter
